Saturday, August 19th; 5:00-7:00PM
Yoga 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) with Heather

Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. This is a open and inclusive group. All A’s are welcome. In this group we weave together the ancient wisdom of yoga and the practical tools of 12-step programs. We recognize that the “issues live in our tissues” and through our intentional, themed yoga practice, guided by our breath, we invoke the God of our understanding to help us release whatever is held. This group is in no way a replacement for 12-step meetings, a sponsor, or any other part of a 12-step recovery program. It is an adjunct providing what we believe is another helpful tool in addressing the physical, mental and spiritual dis-ease of addiction. Offer by donation. Suggested donation $10.

Location: Florida Rd Studio, 1485 Florida Rd., C-201

Friday, September 1st; 7:00-9:00PM (and the 1st Friday of every month)
Kirtan with Blue Lotus Feet

At times laid back and contemplative, at times more forward and driving, Blue Lotus Feet approaches Kirtan with a sensitivity and love that comes from strong connection. Connection with one another, as musicians; connection with the music, as channels; connection with everyone they meet, as human beings. Cost: $10

Location: Florida Rd Studio, 1485 Florida Rd., C-201

Saturday, September 9th; 11:00-2:00PM
A Women's Workshop for Connection to the Pelvic Floor

The pelvic floor is the core and foundation of both fluidity and stability in the body.  The pelvis is also energetically associated with both muladhara (the 1st chakra - roots, sense of groundedness, stability and security) and svadhishthana (the 2nd chakra - creativity, emotional receptivity and sexuality).  Many of us hold tension or feel disconnected in this area, which can create blockages that contribute to a range of physical conditions.  This introductory women's workshop provides a safe space to reconnect to your vital source, learn basic anatomy and yoga asana to explore your relationship with the stories hidden in your pelvis, and bring deeper awareness to your root and creative centers.  We will be incorporating movement, mindfulness and creative expression to connect and share wisdom with each other.  Women of any age and life experience are welcome!

Led by Cindy Schmidt, pelvic floor physical therapist and mindfulness teacher; and Ivy Lau, occupational therapist and women's yoga instructor.

Please bring a yoga mat and journal for personal reflection. Art materials will be provided.

Cost: $60. Sliding scale available.
Space is limited. Please reserve your spot early!

Register Online. For more information contact: Cindy@pathwaysdurango.com or call 970-764-0861.
