Join us for a 4 day retreat at the Salt Spring Center of Yoga, a non-profit educational and spiritual retreat center dedicated to teaching the core principles of yoga which embody peace, resilience, and belonging. Travel through surrounding waterways to this special island and experience how important the climate and biodiversity has sustained people for thousands of years. This magical spot will take us on a journey to discover the depths of our hearts, exploring both the serene havens and the occasional barriers that prevent us from finding inner peace.

The Salt Spring Centre of Yoga is located on Salt Spring Island, one of the most beautiful of the Southern Gulf Islands that lie between the BC mainland and Vancouver Island.

You have a few options international airportsVictoria International AirportVancouver International Airport & Seattle-Tacoma International .The most direct option is to fly into Victoria International Airport and then proceed to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, where ferries set sail for Salt Spring Island every two hours. Travellers may want to consider other factors when planning their trip such as overall costs, ferry or seaplane departure times, and overall travel time.

There are three separate ferry routes to Salt Spring Island. Please check the departure and arrival times for each route and consider booking ferries in advance if you plan to travel during popular sailing times.

About Michele

Through her own journey of Self-discovery, Michele has come to realize that yoga is a practice for all life situations. She believes in yoga’s ability to heal and transform, and that yoga, regardless of one’s ability, is available to all. Michele has been teaching yoga since 2005, practicing yoga therapy since 2010. She is the founder/director of Inner Peace Yoga Therapy.

About Sheryl

Sheryl McGourty is owner and founder of Yogadurango, a community-centered yoga studio in successful operation since 2006. Sheryl is passionate about holding space and creating meaningful experiences for all people. She is a trained and skilled facilitator and leader with diverse experiences and an intense curiosity that helps draw people together.
Sheryl is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and has spent that last decade guiding, educating and most-importantly empowering people on their health care journey. Sheryl believes we are nature thus, she finds her greatest sense of contentment immersed in the natural world.
